Those are better known as Liquid-Air intercoolers... They are very efficient on race prep motors, dunno about street prep motors....

I am planning on using one on a street car application in the very near future. I have heard arguements of the cores inability to cool down the compressed air due to inefficient core when compared to Spearco cores. I am sticking with the core, and see how it preforms. Its going to be used on a d-series making 300whp maximum on pump gas, nothing crazy.

I to think I will be running one on the street as well. I found a guy that has the best prices I've seen. Very informative also. Drop him a line if anyone would like for info or the best prices.

His email address is steruth@prodigy.net and his name is Steve. Tell him Lee with the Type R sent ya.

I have one, yet to use it but it's a really clean product. easy to mount and looks bad ***. I will be using it on my street car. Then again, my idea of a street car includes lexxan windows and stuff.

If you are interested, contact Earl on here, He had by far the best prices that I've seen. Great guy w/ fast shipping and a ton of knowledge.

by the way! I recommend getting about two sizes bigger than you think you can fit. They are smaller than they sound. I got the little one thinking i was tight on space but i could easily fit the 6"x10" one in this same location.

The guy told me for my 500+ hsp I could use the 6x6 with a total length of 15" and the inlet and outlets at 3". That would run 445.00 brand new and 12 for shipping.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by FOrSfEd &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">The guy told me for my 500+ hsp I could use the 6x6 with a total length of 15" and the inlet and outlets at 3". I'd definitely recommend the 6x10 for that power, though i'd recommend a spearco or precision over the pwr anyday. I've tested both and the pwr is by far the worst...

I got a jabsco pump that flows 3gpm from what it says, and a 1.5 gallon cell that i made mounted right behind my bumper, and a decent sided oil cooler for the heat exchanger. I made the cap on the cell big enough to stick frozen water bottles in after i cut the plastic bottle itself off for those weekend nights driving around or at the track.
Here is the cell i made under the drivers side cause my battery is under the passenger side.
