i had mine replaced not too long ago

and since then it has been humming, almost whirring [i tell riceboys its a supercharger!]

it works fine but the buzzing gets annoying,

not sure what the brand was but im not sure if its the alternator itself or the belt.

That would either be the belt or the actual bearing. Anyways if the car has eaten three so far LOOK into fixing something else. They dont go out that easy. IF youhave a big stero system, or after market alarm, it could be sucking your battery dry forcing the alternator to over work, as well as many other components of the electrical system. Maybe a bad ground, maybe the battery cables are gummed up on the inside where you cant see untill you cut them apart. But I seriously doubt its an alternator. I have a stock japanese alternator from 90, haha. (probably gonna go out next week now). I also work at a local auto store and was trained mainly on charging system components and failures. Check something else out, first. Or have a honda qualified tech check it out and save you money in the long run.
