OT: How do you get your adrenalin fix when not on track??
I know most of you guys are like me, an adrenalin junky, what do you guys like to do in your off time?

Here is a cool pic of me kayaking last weekend. I also mountain bike, and ski. All Fun stuff! I have this funny feeling that you guys like this stuff too.

There was a time back in the day that I used to bike a lot, on-road and off-road. Laziness ensued and I haven't done that in a really long time. Got the physique to prove it
nowadays?
- run after the kids
- run after the dog
- work on basement
- mow grass
- live vicariously through the other H-T members
back when I still had a life:
- dirt bikes
- street bikes
- rock climbing
- white water kayaking (did it once, in the alps - what blast that was)
- sailing
- wind surfing
- roller blading
I WILL do a tandem free fall jump before I'm 40. If nothing else, I hope it will help cure my pronounced fear heights (climbing didn't help - I'm not scared when I'm strapped in!)

Kayaking (whitewater & surf)
Mountain-biking
skating/inline
paintball
a good fight.
...just kidding, but a nice pit at a good concert can be fun.
I also like coasters (like Top Gun at Carowinds)
and of course Indoor Carting when I can afford it.
Skiing when we have snow or conditions are favorable in the NC mountains.

i used to play Ice Hockey for 8 years.
then there was Rollerblading (or as you skateboarders called it, "fruitbooting"), managed to place 7th at an xgames qualifier in Dallas way way way back in the day. i think i was 13 or 14 at the time.
then i briefly raced jetski's
then i did BMX
now I autoX

I play a lot of soccer (IM) and Ultimate Frisbee (club). I also play a lot of frisbee golf and am trying to get back into Tae Kwon Do, which I used to be pretty good at: 2 Junior Olympics = 1 5th place and a decent amount of state/regional wins. I drink a lot of beer and chase girls around...in case they run away after my sweet-*** pick-up lines...
Believe it or not I was a minor league baseball player (albeit for 10 days damn wood bats)
I also played Rugby Football Basketball and Mt. Biked too
I start racing Karts this year

I mountain bike. (Cross country, not that sissy downhill garbage
)
When I was living in the mountains, I raced a good deal.
Just as much of a rush as driving on the track, and extremely satisfying as well.

haha, have you ever set up your own anchors to climb off of? That was some scary **** for me - hanging off the side of a cliff attached only by a rope with a knot that I may or may not have tied correctly attached to a 10 mm bolt drilled into the rock. But I, too, am still afraid of heights after 7 straight days of it
I'm planning a skydiving trip with my brother...some day...hopefully soon.

I don't like the feeling of adrenalin. I get a bit excited at the start of a race, but I can definitely say I don't get a rush during a race. Afterwards I feel pretty good, especially if I win, but during the race I don't feel much of anything.
