Wasn't real sure which Forum to put this in but since it has something to do with autox I thought this would be ok.

First off I dropped the quality from 28 mb to 14.1 mb so its easier to download.

Second All video and pics were taken with my Canon power shot a300 digital camera.

Third Its my first video that Ive put together.

The event had almost 200 Hundred drivers. One crashed z06 corvette

Anyways a few people at the shop viewed it and it got some pretty good reviews so I thought I would share it with some members in this forum.

I cant get the thing to post right but IN VTEC did in the very next post...check it out.


Let me know what you think. Yeah and I know we were speeding but its in the middle of nowhere.

Nice Video. I like the music and it seems really smooth for a canon a300.

It might be more suited in the eg forum though.

Dan I think I rode with you on your 3rd and 4th runs. Too bad they dropped the 4th run (your best) I was willing to stay a little longer to let everyone get a 4th. Thanks again for the ride.

Hey Ron...yeah thats me you rode with. Its unfortunate that they took off the 4th run. I usually try to make my last run my best...never had a run just taken off like that but no biggy.

Looks like you did ok yourself. And thanks for the props on the vid.

We should see you a couple times next year.

I drove from Florida to Kansas in September
Florida to Virginia in May
Florida to Indiana in August

all for autocrosses....shrug

I gave Justin my address to get me on the WY AutoX mail list, so I should be up your way next year. 4-5 runs plus fun runs, sounds like it's worth the drive to me See you then.

I probably logged over 5000 miles driving to autox's this year. I like checking out other types of track design and how different events are run.

Longest round trip for the year was 2400 miles, two day race.

 

Nice vid. Shoulda showed some of the auto-x runs if you had them. Whats the song you played with the credits? I reconize it from GT3...

thats nothing we drove 3200 miles this year for one in washington. we did look for some closer, but there were none available.....so off we went.

Awesome video. BTW, I'm #52 SM (the turbo white Integra with it's hatch open in the Supra picture). Too bad we didn't get that 4th run.

The song in the credits is I believe Band name: Grimspoon, title: So you wanna be a champion.

BTW I wanted to the entire video just using my a300 digital camera. Its a whole 3.1 megapixel strong lol but I was really impressed by it. We had to leave early and I was in the first run group so I wasn't there to shoot any runs. However a buddy shot some video and Im gonna include that....eventually.

Hey whats up? Yeah to bad about the 4th run, that was my first event in that region so I wasn't there for anything but the fun.

Yo! The drive back was fairly quick. I even beat my wife home from work...so its like I wasn't even gone. Oh wait I did spend the night up there.

You guys from Colorado should consider an event up this way next season. We always get 6 runs or more and fun runs on top of that. Most of our tracks are on smaller lots but we get two laps. Next season we should also be running over at Dougals Race Park. Last time we ran out there lap times were around 3 minutes.
