I am thinking about turning the boost upto 15psi on my stock D16a6 I have had it upto 12psi and it go's well. If the A/F ratios are good and theres no detonation do you think I would get away with making around 250- 260whp on a stock sohc. Turboo is a BB ihi VF22, LINK adjusts ignition and controlls extra injectors. I would either be using 50/50 93 0ct and 114 oct low lead or straight 114oct.

I think it'll survive on the dyno...but I don't know how long it'll last. Damn those rods!

 

i would save up for a new motor before i get ballsy and ruin my ownly ride.. but thats me, and if it was my only ride!

 

I have no idea how big or how many cfms your "Turboo is a BB ihi VF22"
puts out, but d-series rods let loose at around ~250hp. I wouldnt try it until I had a backup plan(extra motor, extra parts, or $$$ up the wazoo).

I ended up dynoing at 12psi drops to 11psi after 6000rpms, made 215whp and am out of injector. Will be heading back once I have a 8 injector style setup, looking for 250whp@ 14-15psi) on 112octane, will report how it go's. I think the trick will be to only run that kind of boost when racing at the track... D series even though they woin't let me be a ninja
