We cut a parts donor Renault LeCar into small enough pieces that we made it go away by pitching them into a handy dumpster...

The logo Kirk and us old-timers remember:

The new politicaly correct logo:

Maybe we can overnight FedEx you one in some sort of stay-hot box.
PS, they're still as good as you remember.

You want rings, fries or mushrooms with that burger? Oh, and what kind of shake?
Nash - who is an old timer and remembers the old logo.

The Kirkland waterfront won't be the same without the "old" logo. ****, I bet you can't even smoke weed in the hoity-toity beach parks anymore...sheesh.

Spooky. I did my first freestyle contest at Hyak - a night concert/mogul contest that got rained out so bad the lodge had 6" of water on the floor. Spooky how lines cross.

The Oly paint scheme is being restored this year... I couldn't find any of the Heidelburg pictures in my search.

Wow, glory DAYS!
<---- was one of the Ski Acres Mafia during the late 80's.
The oly paint scheme was the best at Hyak.... Though my time was spent mostly @ Acres and the Summit. I was one of the few speed freaks who ran around scaring the $hit out of folks on my 215's (yes they used to make ski's that long).

Dude. I taught for Bellevue Ski School from 1976(!)-the mid '80s. Big skis rule. I had a pair of Kneissl downhills in a 223, as I remember. I did a helicopter off of the last pitch on the downhill course at Mt. Hood Meadows in training, just to prove it could be done. I'm getting all misty, thinking of freezing rain, garbage bag racing down triple face in the middle of the night, and girls in the ski school hut thinking that it was dark enough that we couldn't see them changing clothes. Sniffle.
Luckily we havn't got too far OT...lol

Kirk has a way of rabbit trailing off topic...
I built a snowman at the top of the Heidelberg tower one night with a bunch of delinquents during a blizzard. That tower is pretty high as I remember, and used to instruct for the same ski school with Kirk. Kirk was so badass, he was the instructors instructor.
