A 1990 Honda Civic Si or a 1990 CRX Si? (108HP models)

Stock for stock, the CRX would be faster. The weights I found were 2174lbs for the 1990 CRX Si, and 2291lbs for the 1990 Civic Si. The CRX has a better power to weight ratio.

However the 117lb difference isn't all that much in the 1/4 mile. And also, these weights aren't all that accurate since Honda overrates their cars' curb weights. My buddy's stock 1990 Civic Si weighed in at about 2050lbs without the spare, jack, or floor mats.

I'm not too sure because I raced my friend's CRX yesterday and I was pulling on him...

also depends on the mileage, how well the motor was taken care of, oil condition, and a lotta other things. But technically the CRX should win

So? Could be because of various things, including, but not limited to:

- He can't drive
- You had a better launch
- Your car weighs less
- His car has less power

The claimed 117lb weight difference can easily be made up through a difference in driver skill.

All things equal, the CRX should be slightly faster - if only two tenths of a second in the 1320.

Also, your actual body weight and his will play a roll too. Theres really a lot of variables thatll effect the outcome. So technically, if both cars had the same exact mileage, same engine condition, same drivers, and everything is the exact same besides the fact that ones a hatch and ones a CRX, the CRX would win.

well if all the variables were the same and equal (in which they are not) then i know that that si will win, but not by much
