skunk2 shifter question
I tried searching first, but I could not find anything.
I recently purchased a slightly used Skunk2 shifter for my Civic after doing lots of research about them. However, it did not come with the metal bushings/spacers that go on the sides of the shifter when it gets installed. Does anyone know what size they are, and I can just pick up a set at Home Depot.

ok, as i have very much experience with these, and as i have hooked up 14 different applications i will throw u the basics.
1. what shift linkage do you have currently installed, and that will be going with the shifter?
2. if its an integra LS/GS-R/Type R then the linkage at the end where the bottom end of the shifter hooks up is wider. if this is what you have then all you have to do is buy a few washers, or maybe a spacer from home depot/ace hardware will work. i have had to do this twice, just take it apart, take the bolt, have a buddy drive you over there, and see if the screw will fit through, and BTW: the spacer needs to be about 2 inches long, then when u do this take it home, cut the spacer in half with a pipe saw, and then see how much you will need to cut off of each end. AND PAY ATTENTION TO THIS:: TRY TO GET IT AS EVEN ON BOTH SIDES AS POSSIBLE, BECAUSE IF YOU DONT, THEN THE SHIFTER WILL BE OFF BALANCE, AND WHEN U THINK YER GOING INTO 3RD GEAR, YER RELLY GOING TO 1ST OR 5TH. dammit i ahte explaining this if u lived near me ide do it for ya for free, but ya dont and i hope it all works out. good luck.

the spacers fit inside the bearings, you cannot just use washers... however, i have a crazy idea that might just blow a few minds... contact skunk/groupA and tell them you need replacement spacers
