simply put, my new in box, but opened, avcr is missing the pressure sensor. damn h-t classifieds....

anyway, is this piece required? is it for OEM turbo cars? anyway to hack around it with a source of some sort?

You need it. Unit is useless without it as it can't read boost and adjust accordingly.
You could view your RPMS though.


You can buy the pressure sensor (430-A008 Pressure Sensor for AVC Type-R (Digital)
Same goes for the solenoid valve.
Did you get the solenoid valve?

yeah, i have the solenoid valve. everything on the part list except the pressure sensor was included.

just paid $116 for it 2-day from HP freaks.

avcr for 400 bucks just became 500 bucks :/

I hate hondas. lol

SOrry to hear. Yeah, I have seen the AVCR's for $375 before on ebay.
If you need help with it, let me know. I haven't used everything it does yet but am somewhat fluent with the unit.

I'mm still working on building it- I'll let you know if i need help when time comes to actually use the things. Thanks for the help bro... back to the gayyyrage
