i was thinking of going with a neuspeed short shifter kit.. anyone got any opinions on this? i want one that will lower the shifter height along with aid in smooth shifts and of course shorten the distance of each shift..
I hear neuspeed is very good.
I have a DC sports shifter and it feels great to me. Very precise, short shifts...no problems with it at all, and a few bucks cheaper than the Neuspeed. But you really can't go wrong with either one...

i just ordered a B&M but i have a friend w/ the pacesetter shifter and it's adjustable for height. they said it's adjustable without having to remove it, but pacesetter is full of ****. it's nice though either way they aren't al that great for the car

You get what you pay for, but it's still a piece of metal and some bushings.
Neuspeed is supposedly the best affordable shifter. B&M is also nice, but is a straight piece so th eposition will be different. It is adjustable however.

If you just want a good shifter for a good price, go with Neuspeed or DC Sports. If you have $330 to spend on a shifter then go with the C's. It's a lot of money but once you feel it, it's worth it. I was hesitant to spend that much money on a shifter but I was glad I did. On my Type R it felt like a S2000 after I installed it. But like I said, Neuspeed and DC Sports are great also, just a little notchy and not quite as smooth and nice. Oh yeah, http://godspeed.hack.net sells them.

I have a tenzo, it's not bad for the $60 bucks I spent. It's precise, short throw and not too tall either. If money grew on trees, then I would definitely go with a C's.
