I've gone through two so far(DC Sports) all within one year, the one I have now is not great either(Arospeed). If I decide to get another it will be a B&M, they're known to be one of the best.

Neuspeed shifter bushings:
BY FAR THE BEST $18 (incl.shpg) I HAVE EVER SPENT ON MY CAR!!!!
Coupled with my Arospeed short throw shifter, the whole system is a great inexpensive mod that you can easily do yourself in about an hour!!!

Some guy up there said short throw shifter ruin synchros. I've never heard that before. Is this a load of ****? If they do detract from synchro life, please explain how.
