four secondary injectors
here is my question has anybody tried puttin 4 secondary injectors for additional fuel enrichment for boost or even juice.
f-max kits use two 440 injectors in the intake track before the throttle body. that adds additional fuel for boost. but i would prefer the injectors near the cylinders. i feel it would be more accurate distribution of gas.
i took a quick look at the intake manifold i have layin around. it seems i could mount 4 extra injectors behind the ones already there. i know somebody that works w/ a cnc machine and he could make extra mounting holes.
im thinking of using stock injectors and fuel rail for the secondaries. if im correct the stock injector is a 245cc peak and hold. so that should be more than enough fuel.
say i mount the injectors and have the set up correctly done.... who makes good stand alone fuel managements systems.... could the system monitor the secondaries correctly for boost... how much does the system go for..... can someone give a website of the company that make fuel management systems....
the reason i want to do this is cause i want to built a turbo system on a budget. so all i would have to do is buy the fuel management system and calibrate it. right?
also how flexible is the fuel control system..... can i program for nos and then when i get the turbo reprogram it...
also i dont want big cc primaries. f-max website made a point that big primaries bogg down horsepower in low rpm's. so in normal driving conditions the secondaries wont see any action but only in high boost and high rpm, theoritically, it would come in play.
what do you guys think, good or bad let me kno.......

WHy wouldn't you just buy bigger injectors to replace the 4 perfectly good holes you have right now and buy fuel management to get it tuned? Sounds a hell of a lot easier than what you're suggesting.
yea some setups run them but its mainly just to have a better fuel spray pattern.
the pattern of a 440 RC is better than a 990CC
thats why they make 8 boss manifolds.. not many but they are out there. not necessary on your motor.. get RC or somethign
