help me decide ...
0k i have a 92 civic hatch with a d16y8 in it... from like a 94, with bout 70k miles on it. Body is decent, and no mods really besides the swap
other kid has, 93 del sol, he did his own LS/Vtec. it's not that fast, he prob runs like 15's. But he drives it all the time, and doesnt seem to be giving him many problems. I personally am not a fan of LS vtec's, but i like the targa top, and BTW his car is primer ATM, but i can paint. he prob has bout 80k-90k on the ls/vtec.
SoooOooOo.... what should i do?
would it be possible to put a b16 block back on the vtec head?? or would i be better off to get a whole new b16 if i had reliablility problems... I have a chevy s10 Xtreme 4.3 that i plan on putting a blower on, so not mainly concerned with speed.
what do you guys think ?

Yes, you can take the b16 head off the b18b block and throw it onto a b16 block or b18c block. If its a straight up trade I say good deal, but I wouldn't want to buy anyone's motor, especially an LS/VTEC if I wasn't completely sure how good of a job they did.
yeah str8 trade... i think i may go for it, it's not going to ber a daily driver, just for fun. Plus i think they look cool as hell, like a poor man's supra ! lol
