I went down to Cecil County Maryland for some 1/4 mile fun with DC2R714 (PY turbo R) and Philly_NBP_R (stock NBP R running open header that night). Fun times, I made a little video of the drive down and some 1/4 mile passes.

For some reason your ambers look cooler than usual.. They look black outlined.. Maybe it's just me.. Nice car though! ClickyPOw wasn't as cool as I'd hoped..

It was the first time for him at the track with turblo power and he was having lots of traction problems on the street tires (read 3rd gear wheel spin). I think he was hitting low 14's.

Hahaha Evan once again another badass video. I was running 14.2s@109mph. I couldnt frickin hook up. My 60fts were like 2.6 I need slicks, but you can hear everyone go "oooh" when I was racing that STI cause once I hooked I caught up to him like a torpedo.

Yea thjat was Nates 1st time racing , i am very impressed with the 109mph traps on low boost, esp on Azenis, the 60fts and up to the 1/8 mile werent great , but after that it picked up like crazy . you could actually see him swerving a little from the power up till the 1/8 mile .
With some preactice im very sure thta car can go 12's on low boost with street tires.

I'm sure nick will chime in here but he managed a 14.6 with the open header. It was retarded loud but he said it helped.

Ya Pete thanks for all your help and suggestions I actually lowered my 60ft the last run, but it still wasnt great. I had a fun time learning. I'll be back

 

No prob, just let me know when you wanna go down , Kims gotta get some runs in too , she gotta get her feet wet before next season, Cuz i wont have time during the season to help . Ill be busy getting my beast down the track safely amongst the other projects we;ve been working on .

 

Definitely will let you know. I might have to come up to Maple Grove too sometime so you guys dont have to drive 2 hours

 

that wuold be ideal, costs a little more i think , but deff a nicer track .

14.6 @ 96 was my best time so far, but my 60' times sucked (~2.4). Guess I need wider tires. Car definately made more power with the open exhaust - sounded mean too

Overall I'm happy with my "stock" R - think I'm gonna try to get into some trackdays and autocrossing next year though...

 

yea, screw this 1/4 mile at a time stuff. I can't wait to do some track days dude.
