does the d16y8 vtec solenoid interchangeable with the d16z6
sup guys i have a quick question. im about to purchase a d16y8 sohc vtec solenoid but im not sure will it fit the d16z6 sohc vtec. anyone know the answer help me out with just a yes or no. thanks alot

It should work. hell I think even a B Series solenoid is the same thing.

aite cool. thanks. yeah i saw an ad on ebay sayin his vtec solenoid fits the b16,b18,d16,h22, but i dont know its true or not.

really my D15Z and D16Z were the same and so was the B16

I have one off a 94 D16Z6 for sale. It came off the motor with 225k on it. Send $7 and it's your, shipped......but I've had it for 8 months as a spare and can't promise it works.

B series are different the presure switch is upp wards on the D and the B is out wards to the side of the car

damn the d16z6 vtec solenoid is not interchangeable with the y8. i just purchase the z6 vtec sol and it doesnt fit at all. anyone that got a y8 vtec solenoid for sale or trade. PM me
