Default B20?

As I start to build my car i think of questions about my motor. I know i want a b16 into my 95 civic coupe because i want to go with a civic engine. I am unsure to which block i should go with. I first heard of a "Frankenstine" about 2 years ago when i was putting an Apex exhaust on my stock dx. A family friend works at the local honda dealership and gave me cheap aftermarket parts they stripped from the lot cars when they put stock parts back on them. Is a CRV block going to make my car faster? The car is a daily driver with high milage to be put on it (i deliver pizza for Dominos). I want it to be fast and strong but not too expensive.

To build a B20/VTEC correctly so that it is reliable, it will be expensive. Stick with the B16 for reliability IMO.

i would definatley just run the b16.

history has shown b20 vtecs arent very reliable. for every 1 you hear that works well for a year there are 10 that break constantly.

b16 would be the safe way to go considering how much you drive your car. if i were you i would spend about 1000 on a piece of **** to drive for work, so you don't put an assload of miles on your new motor swap
