Default What sensor is this...

I an swapping out an 89 crx dx motor for a 93 civic dx motor.. On the back of the 89 dx motor there is a sensor that has 2 plugs on it.. Its to the left of the oil pressure sensor.. Its not there on the 93 dx motor.. My best guess is that its a coolant temp sensor but im not sure.. On the 93 dx motor there is a plug for the coolant temp sensor on the thermostat housing..

If this is a coolant temp sensor can I just entend the wires up and get a plug to fit into the 93 dx sensor or should I remove the 93 dx sensor and put the 89 dx sensor in its place.. Thanks

you got it right, thats what it is. If the plugs are the same on the 93 motor you really shouldnt even have to extend it, just pull it out of the harness a lil, thats how i did the z6.
