Default i have a question about an intake manifold?

my friend has an skunk 2 intake manifold with a edlebrock 70 mm throttle body for a gsr but i was wondering if it was better than my stock itr manifold and throttle body, should i put it on or not?

do you plan to modified the car later on ? all motor set ups can benefit from it , but what else do you plan to do ? If you plan to keep the car stock IMO i see no reason why upgrade to a larger TB. If you plan to mod the car like cams , a nice header and maybe down the line a bit more CR then its worth getting it . Anything pass 68/70mm would be an overkill , unless you have more displacement ..

yeah i plan to do alot of stuff just dont have the money to it right now but i think he said it was a 68mm tb i plan on getting a full exhaust soon, what should i do next if i buy this tb to get more out of it , a fuel regulator or something of that sort.

adding a tb/im would help (for the money you are dropping) only if you get the ECU tuned to it. all your ecu is going to do is read more air and dump more fuel...it needs to be leaned out. just my .02.

BTW a GSR intake manifold on a ITR, WTF? NM, read the two threads
