Electrical Load Detector
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
Check your fuses under the dash. I had this occur twice: once on my '97 EK w/B16, and another time on my '00 Si.
Should be a 7.5amp fuse that is blown, it controls your *speed sensor and **alternator.
*Check to see if your speedometer doesn't give any readings, and your odometer shouldn't be turning over either.
**Be careful, becasue your car is relying on your battery only right now. That blown fuse is keeping the alternator from sending back a charge to fill the battery.
