Default will this work out ok

i have a gsr and want to rebuild the bottom end...i need a block to use to build while i keep my car in driving condition...can i use any b18 block meaning one from a ls, rs, gs to due this...will me gsr head bolt on correctly to these other blocks

if you use a non vtec block with a vtec head that would be a ls/vtec, you would gain low end tq by doing this

the gsr head will fit with some minor changes. there is a oil feed hole in the vtec head and none on the non vtec.lots of ppl saying that oil leaks from the cylinder head due to improper installation. I'm sure u've heard of this being called ls/vtec. you are better off with finding a used b18c block with all the innerds and ur head on it while working on ur existing block. going with a non vtec block will be alot of money to get it to run right.
