my accord's transmissino just went out.. and how do i know if it is the solenoid or the transmissino itself??

If it has less than 100,000 miles on it, take it to a dealer to get it cheched out and repaired under the transmission warranty extension.

 

trip the ecu get the code on the d4 light too, if u want

 

ok.. its not an accord, its actually a 98 acura cl. i just put accord since.. this is an accord forum, but they are basically the same car .

The transmission wont move anymore. and once in a rare while when it does.. it just gets stuck in one gear.. the bam.. wont move.. transmission or solenoid??

Did you check the fluid?

 

just jump the ecu and look at the d4 light on the dash, it will give u a code. I got a 99 accord V6, it gave me a code and it was for bad shift control system. Ofcourse took my car the the dealership, tranny is blown.

 

honda autos SUCK, your tranny is toast, get a new one
