hey guys, my car battery is dead and i can't start my car.. i've never had to replaced the battery before so i have no idea what brand is good, so can any of you give me some recommendations? PRICE is an issue for me.. but i want QUALITY too. i'm running two amps and a sub FYI.. thanks in advance!

 

Optima now has a red, yellow, blue top that fits civics.
delco's arent bad either, but with the amps you will need a deep cycle battery.

if you want to spend 100 bucks on a good battery get a optima.
me...i replace my battery every 2 years with a kragen or autozone battery.
i think after 2 years you should replace them just to keep everything working properly. a weak battery can cause alternator failure...so to avoid spending 200-300 bucks on a new alternator i replace my battery every 2 years

 

get one of those non car batterys that weights around 11 lbs. Nice and lightweight and from what I hear they should produce enough power for our 4 cylinder hondas

what is the difference between the red, yellow, and blue top optima batteries?

 

red= starter battery= for regular cars

yellow= offroad/deep cylce= for cars with extra current draw( amps,winches, fogs, etc.)

blue= marine= boats/watercraft
