I tested my distributor coil yesterday and one of my readings was above spec. After doing so I glanced over my manual again and it said the ohm readings are for a temp of around 70 degrees. It said nothing about the cooling the engine down completely so I'm not sure if it meant that the coil connectors should have been around 70 degrees or the actual air temp (which happened to be right at 70 yesterday). I have a feeling my coil is bad, but I want to be sure that my readings weren't off due to a warm engine. Thanks in advance.
If it did matter, which I'm not sure of, it would probably read lower, not higher. So your assumption may be right about having a bad coil
