Try ebay, if not that, check out http://www.extremedimensions.com or even wingswest.com they all sell either the mugen front or the copy cat, WW front end.

to get the real mugen kit or a copy of the real mugen kit you'll have to get it direct from japan. im talking about the one you posted, sir headlights, and wrap around turn signals, no wings west crap.

i seriously looked into and its way to expensive.... i was told to ship the front bumper would be almost as much as shipping a whole car.... so ya, that what im doing.

You can't get "just the bumper." Since the Mugen front is for the SiR front end, you would at minimum also need the SiR headlights, SiR hood, and the SiR bumper turn signals for it to fit.

Also, good luck finding a real Mugen kit that you can afford. Those things cost as much as a complete CRX Si in good condition.

Might as well get the Wings West RS replica - though it does't really look the same since it's made for a USDM front.

I'm in the same boat as you... I've look and looked and never found one. I ended up with the WW RS one and modded it.... does not look as good as the real thing. If you know someone in japan I found this:

Here's the link to the web site:
http://page3.auctions.yahoo.co...04110

Its like a ebay for Japan but its by Yahoo.
I did the conversion and right now it is at about $110 for the whole kit. It has 4 days left.

I wish I knew someone over there

WW kit is an EF7 replica.....not EF8. EF7 stuff will fit USDM, i believe.

Well, I took a die grinder to it. Had to remove some of the material away from where the headlight would go. There is about a 1" gap between the bumper and hood. You cant tell unless you are looking at it up close.

Heres Pic:

This one you can see the gap:

But not to bad from up high lol:

I'd still rather get the real mugen or a replica of it with the wrap around headlights.

The black kit above is a replica kit... it doesn't fit very well from what I've heard, but a friend ordered it... I'm waiting for him to tell me how fitment is...

on the other hand... I have access to genuine Mugen kits... not for buying, but I can persuade someone to take it off and have a replica made... in CF!!!

problem is:
1. me and the kits are all in europe
2. shipping sux

but yeah... it's absolutely doable to get a kit and replicate it...

ow and just so you guys know:
- Mugen did make a kit for the non-siR nose, but that's even rarer than the kit we all want
- 90-91 crx's in japan ALWAYS are siR shape... (that's the reason the 'normal' kit is so rare...)

ah well....

for the price and shipping plus it not fitting right I would still either convert my front end to a EF8 or get a WW kit. I've found a few places that have nice kits as well but the shippping plus custom fees are just outrageous

Default WARNING about a company you

do not want to deal with. IMPORT FAN/ GTP. They are hands down the WORSTservice company I have dealt with in my 40,000 dollars worth of experience. There "BLUE CLASS" kits are terribly constructed and their service is even worse!!

I have an obligation to let as many people know about my horrific experience with them.

TrueNorthStar I think it looks good I dont know if you remember but I was talking to you about doing the same thing in another post . Dont look bad so i guess ill do it . any body think of cutting the bumper to fit the jdm bumper lens ? this guy did it but it looks like he needs to cut more on the inside & make a bracket to push out the side that curves . Tell me what you guys think http://www.psylence.com/Automo....html ya its a civic but is a ww bumper so how much different can it be

TrueNorthStar - about your inability to lock up your brakes with the azenis, try getting some stainless steel brake lines, some good hawk pads and possible rotor upgrade - your tires traction is better then the coefficient of friction between your pad and rotors, not that that's a bad thing, I had azenis and upgraded brakes. I was able to lock them up, but with the upgraded brakes my stopping distance improved quite a lot. Too bad my car is still missing in action.

Keep your eyes peeled for a black 88 si with bronze c8's, azenis, full suspension/brakes and hybrid single cam vtec swap

Default Mugen SiR Bumper

Yeah the Mugen SiR front bumper is the best looking one IMO. The wrap around lights really help. I've just about given up trying to find one. I wonder if the Mugen SiR bumper would fit a USDM CRX? Assuming you had the lights to put in it.
