Default questions about husco cup holder.....

just a few questions before i buy it, for anyone that has it:

1) does it hold a regular size coke can?

2) does the bottom of the cup or can rest on something, or just hang loosely from
a hole cutout thing?

3) does the top of the armrest open up and you can put things in it?

4) does the height of the top of the armrest sit high enough to rest your
right elbow on while driving? cause it looked low in the picture.

5) when the drink holders are slid out, does it get in the way of shifting into
2nd, 4th, and 5th gear?

any info you can give me will help me decide whether to buy or not, cause the website did'nt have a picture of the one for the crx or any detailed information, thanks

Answer: Yes.

Answer: there is a small metal bracket that comes down as you pull the cup holder
out of the arm rest.

3) does the top of the armrest open up and you can put things in it?

Answer: No. it's just a pad.

4) does the height of the top of the armrest sit high enough to rest your
right elbow on while driving? cause it looked low in the picture.

Answer: Yes.

5) when the drink holders are slid out, does it get in the way of shifting into
2nd, 4th, and 5th gear?

Answer: It depends. There are two cupholders inside the arm rest. With only one pulled out, it doesn't get in the way. With two pulled out it gets in the way of reverse. You cannot engage the hand brake and have cups on the cup holder at the same time.

Here is a pic of mine back when I used to have an interior on my CRX.
It does not come in that color. I painted it to match the interior.

I have that too. It rattles like crazy with my motor mount inserts, but a great mod

I have one too. To solve the problem of it getting in the way of reverse put it in backwards thats the way mine is.

Well the rattling mainly is from the cup holder underneath the arm rest. Mine seems to have some play in it. I am going to rip it out one of these days, I really don't use it, only the arm rest; which is bad ***

I have one and it's my fav mod to the car. It should of came stock like that. On mine the rattling drove me nuts with my motor mount inserts so I took out the cup holder and put hondabond in the tracks where the pad slides. So it's just stationary but it does what I want it to do, be an armrest. I love it.
