you live without it, and try not to get hassled by the cops for not having one. I've never heard of a cop giving anyone trouble for no 3rd brake light anyway. There are some jdm hatches that have the 3rd brake light, but not the wiper hole.

I went to California Highway patrol and they told me the third break light was not nessassary CHP said it was ok and I was on my way.

You put on your gsr spoiler with the brake light; I have never seen an ITR rear hatch (JDM or USDM) without a 3rd brake light.

Are you sure that is an ITR Hatch? There are other models that dont come with the the rear wiper or third brake light (but has the third brake light on the spoiler).
All ITRs came with the high spoiler, so the third brake light went on the glass.

yes I'm positive. I pulled it off a jdm itr rear clip. It was a 96-97 jdm type r. It had the wing on it too, which didn't have an led. And what "other" models come without the rear wiper? Only the 97 usdm itr comes without a wiper, but it still has a 3rd brake light.
