noticed my shift linkage clunking around the other day so i jacked the car up and whatdid i find ? the three bolts that hold the driver mount to the block were moving arond . pulled the timing cover off and i`m sooooo lucky . 2 of the 3 bolts were broke off inthe block and 1 was barely in there. i extracted the broke ones out and i need to helicoil the last one. i have to get a 10mm x 1.0 thread pitch helicoil for it . now i have to wait till monday to jack one from work (a certain import company in TN ) . didn`t get to drive my car all weekend and it sux! i wonder if i ever tightened them up when i put it in . it`s been a year since i dropped it in and no probs . thank you lord for letting me find it before the motor fell . just wanted to remind everyone CHECK EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU DROP IT IN !
