i hate to ask such a newbish question, but i've searched and not found the answers i need. my friend might be getting a 91 hatch with a zc motor. what exactly is a zc motor? what makes it so speacial? any information will be appreciated. thanks in advance.

 

Its basically a twin cam D series.

 

oh, so it is dohc? i was under the impresion that it was an sohc. it is vtec, right?

 

its not vtec and there are versions of the zc that are sohc and dohc.........

 

also, i think the search function requires at least 3 letters to work, so you might want to try stuff like "jdm zc" or "dohc zc" or "sohc zc" or something.
