Spokane Race Way Park, Road Course AutoX Pics 10/11/03
This was the first time I've ever seen or participate in an autoX on part of a 2.5 Mile Grand Prix Road Course. Evidentially I didn't do so well, but it was a great experience, with speeds on the top of third gear and needing to down shift on the tight corners. Enjoy!
A little boost for this HachiRoku

A very competative Stock Class Spec-V
Some JIC Magic for this WRX
World Rally spoiler on this Standard WRX
By far my favorite car and driver in this region
A clean S2k that did quite well for his first autoX
Little ol' Me in the mix

One of the cleaner Civics
STi Looking mean but wasn't reflective of its times
A clean JRSC Lude
Spec Miata? Dunno but it was trailered in

I should have cruised back home for that
Looks like Dykstra(blue Prelude) made it out, Tanaka(Lancer), and Mickey(NX2000).
The road course in Spokane is by far the funnest autocross on that side of the state.

Heres my car at that autox (sat):
Saturdays course was the funnest course I'd ever been on. Sunday's was fun too (and I did better on it).
mey_xanng, are you shea's friend?

Looks like fun. If anyone is interested in running the full course, I am heading out there to run in the BMW school next weekend. I have done it twice last year, and that is the best school I have been to. It gets you a lot of track time over 2 days, with some well broken down run groups.

Its long for road racers as well. You should try a track day. The straight is only 1 mile in length and you enter it top of 3rd gear into 4th before the drag burnout zone and into 5th 3/8's to 1/2 way down.
The bonus is the 135 mph corner, over a bump that gets about 4-8 inches of air under the rear tires just at the point braking is to commence.

What does Shea drive???
I'm pretty new to the area. But most people I've met have been
On that straight I hit 80 the first day and around 90 the second day. They tried to slow it down with the big cone wall things (as seen in my first pic) but you could just accelerate through it.
Shea drives a 91 4dr integra. He is co-owner (I think) of idaho speed center in boise. He also has a bright blue EF hatch as a track car. He was there on saturday and had a buddy with him. I thought maybe the buddy was you.

yeah, finishing up a 12.3:1 all motor H22 right now. He's bringing it over to me this weekend in Bellingham for some final assembly. I think I'll make it back to Spokane in the Spring for some more autocrosses...I've been stuck running with clubs on the other side of the state
