Default Burning Plastic Smell

I've noticed the smell these past two days. I checked the exhaust pipe (header, cat...etc) and saw no sign of anything plastic.

I popped the hood up and took a look around and the smell is coming from the oil filter (type SH) area. Could it be the oil filter seal?

Anyone ever had this problem? Any help will be appreciated.

Did you just change your oil? It usually happens right after I get my oil changed and was told it's because there's some oil that drips from the oil filter onto something--someone else from this board probably has a better explanation.
