5th gen crossmember q's (suspension guru's needed)
about two years ago i smacked a curb after hitting an ice patch and popped out the left front wheel bearing, bent the radius rod, and the lower control arm. all the stuff was replaced from insurance but since then it has seemed my car's right front sits lower and my steering is deffinatly off. i put on a set of tein ha's suspensions techniques sway bars fr and rear and specialty products camber kits (ad. ball joints) all around and the problem is still there. no matter how much i raise or lower the front right coilover that side still always sits lower and when i hit a bump the right side doesnt seem to make the same feeling impact as the left does. not to mention the right front wheel will always looses traction first.
at first i thought it was the rack but me and my uncle ruled it out on an alignment machine but what we found was the caster in that right front wheel wasnt so hot. it was like 6 1/2 degrees or something and its supposed to be less. so im starting to think the problem is the radius rod on that side was also damged as a result of the impact on the left side and may have shifted the crossmember also and damged it entirely. supposedly those washers in that cup in the crossmember are fairly weak.
any insight into this would be great
also.....my buddy had a tubular front crossmember on his crx with adjustable radius rods to fit his tubular turbo manifold.. does anyone know of anyone who makes either item for a 5th gen lude?
thanks
p.s. i did a search and couldnt come up with ****.

Do you have a base or SH?
And no one currently makes a traction bar set (like Z10) for the prelude if that's what you mean. We just discussed getting them made but most people said we had them already.

no i havent removed the front crossmember and radius rod yet as i do not feel that i have to. castor that is a couple degrees out of wack seems to be a big enough indicator that at the least the radius rod is bent and the washers inside the front crossmember are torched. i cant think of anything else that would alter castor that bad except for a noticable bend in the LCA but i have done a comparison to a known good lca and it is fine.
personaly i think i allready know the answer to my own problem ...buying a new front crossmember and radius rod and being done with it..
thanks for the help anyway
and as far as the traction bar thing thats pretty *** that luders miss out on another usefull thing. i have had my entire suspension out at a couple given moments and those puss radius rods are the furthest thing from traction bars i have seen.

From what you are telling us I would put the car on a Frame machine before buying any parts. The Caster problem is indeed radius rod related, but could also be due to something being bent underneath.
