I just got it from my friend. It's not episodes like stage 1 and 2, and also not the boring Extra stage movie.

It's the Stage III movie!!! The AE86 vs MR2!!

And......also in pure English subs.

For those of you who never seen the movie and would like to know what the heck it's all about, here is your chance!

I don't wanna post on OT boards, that would get too many ppl to d/l the thing and would take lots of bandwidth....

i was just watching a pirated vcd from a friend who got it from hong kong. it's japanese with chinese subtitles though, but it didn't kill my enthusiasm though. who needs dialogue? does ne1 read the articles in playboy?

for those of u who complained about the animation being not good... well, the frame rates are much higher this time, and the car motions are for the most part better. character designs are still faithful to the original manga.

i'm not going to spoil it for those who haven't seen it but...

- the sw20 mr2/ae86 battle is as good as everyone says it was (albeit short).
- and takumi's dad still won't open his eyes

does ne1 know why they've added the extra number to the license plates? it's only supposed to have 4 numbers... and what the heck is with that subaru svx that keeps popping up in traffic?!?

hah, i've got 13 CDs worth of all of seasons 1 and 2....about 7.5 gigs total. Season one are Japanese with (excellent) english subtitles, season two are chinese dub with (not so excellent) english subs. I continually pop in the episodes with the R32 vs. AE86, i love the toccata and fugue in D minor techno mix (back on the rocks is the name of the song) they play for the R32...."That R-32 has a menacing presence!"

 

that sounds about right hehe. I got all 6 gigs on my HD right now. Too lazy to burn it. I personally loved the snow scene in Stage 3.
