Default mugen decal

Hello, everyone. I have just created an account with honda-tech and I am looking forward to meeting you all. I own a 94' integra RS and I am in the process of converting it to a 98' spec DC2 (not as good as the real deal I know, but I plan on having the finished product pretty close to it.) Compleat with championship white paint, 98' spec front clip w/lip spoiler, jdm DC2 motor swap ect. Also mugen will make up much of my conversion ex. shiftknob, steering wheel, rims, suspension & engine components. This project will probably take a couple of yrs. to be compleat but I am looking forward to your opinions and sharing this with you. Now that I introduced myself (Jeff by the way), I am looking for a mugen pinstripe decal. This is a very rare peice. It's a silver stripe that starts at the front fender and goes over the door and ends on the rear fender with the mugen colors (black, gold, red) followed by the mugen enblem and name. If anyone knows where I could get my hands on one of these it would be greatly appriciated. Thank you all for your time.

p.s. my e-mail address is jeffVmahar@hotmail.com

LOL!
It would probably be cheaper and more effective for him/her to just buy an ITR instead of trying to "make" one!

Yes, they did. You can find replicas on eBay -- they are not genuine Mugen peices.

How did your 94 RS turn out? Did you have any problems you could warn me about? And how close to the real thing was it when you finished? Thanks alot for the encouragement and any help or input you offer would be appricated.

How do you figure it would be cheaper when a good itr goes for around $25,000, ;and I can build one pretty near identical with what I already have for around $12,000?

bud you can buy a used 98 itr for around 13-15 with a kinda high mileage(60-80), and you can get 00-01 from 17 anywhere up to about 20 depending on condition, itr's were 25 when they were new not now, and even if you do all that stuff to make it look like an itr it will never be an itr, and you get raped horribly when and if you try to sell it, anyway thats my 2 cents it probaly doesnt mean to much but whatever go have a better make that 's

ebay has the decals but a lil over priced but if that is what you want, price shouldnt matter.

you are right about the price, but I am from the east coast of canada where there might be 3 or 4 genuine itr's so if i were to buy one it would be way overpriced. so I figure converting my 94 rs is my best option, still not as good as the real thing I know but the next best thing. Also I plan on restoring it and keeping it for along time I know I will lose out if I ever go to sell it but I don't think I will ever want to. When the day comes that I can afford the real deal I will most definatly buy one. Until then I think this project will turn out pretty good. thanks for your opinion.

p.s. When I said 25,000 I ment Cdn. dollars

I think it would be more effective to build up the RS to outperform a stock ITR

so you cut out your stock wheel-wells and had ITR ones welded in place? damn...that sounds like quite a bit of work.

it was a head ache and a half. i would not recoment the wheel wells and the pillars.its not worth the trouble. you need to drop the tank to replace the rear lower crossmember. everyone that saw the car thought i was bullshitn when i told them its an rs everyone was pretty much sure it was a type r. its a fun project but you have to be paitent and welding is a must. don't bother with your hatch, swap it for a tupe r hatch then add the bracket to your 1/4 for the hatch. i'll try to dig up old pics and post it.
but i search really well i bet you could find a itr for a deal. even theft recovered once.

I don't see why you want to waste so much money making your RS a pseudo-ITR when you could have a car that spanks stock ITRs and would cost you less. Sell your car and buy an ITR if you want a stock ITR, else do something more interesting/cost effective/powerful/"name your adjective" than making an ITR replica. Just what we need, another teg with ITR and Mugen badges, as if there aren't enough already

u sure 12000cdn is enough ? that's say at least 6-8k for engine swap another 3k for 5 lug conversion itr rims this that, by the time you have your RS look close to ITR it will cost you a lot, not to mention you want all mugens' that thing aint cheap. and try your "ITR" looklike car on track, you will regret why not just get an ITR. unless you change to ITR chasis too
my suggestion just get a real ITR it will save you lots lots money
