Looking for local roll cage fabricator/builders - MD/DC/VA/PA..
I *think* I have someone lined up to do a cage for me, locally, but wanted to check and see if there was any reccomendations of someone that might do it better and/or cheaper than the one person I know who does it.. So, does anyone in the MD/DC/NoVA/South PA/South NJ area have someone that they reccommend?
Thanks!
Thanks!

they quoted me 800 or less for steel cage in my h1 crx and 1300 or less for a chrome moly cage. This includes nascar bars and he said it takes about a week.
I talked to the guy and he seems VERY knowledgeable (sp?) on cages. He does a bunch of drag cages so you'll have to tell him the specs you need and he'll give you a price. I've heard piper was expensive.

piper and my guy are both very expensive.. around $2k, it sounds like.. So I at least wanted to see what my other options are..
Any ideas what the landover guy, or EB3, use for piping sizes? Stitch weld at all? Rigidity/safety?

From my experience here in Western PA. We went with a custom KIRK cage w/door bars. The weld-in kit goes for about $700 including freight and extras. My fabricator had the GCR in his hands and also used my phone card to talk to both SCCA and KIRK as needed. He builds drag cars, street rods and refurb's classics too.Remember to include the cost of welding the window net brackets on. The final cost to me was closer to $2000 and this is using DOM tubing. If you go with Chromoly-be very careful who you have weld it-someone with a great deal of experience for this is best.

Chris is a really good guy. You are correct that he knows CRX setups. Akron is not that far away and I plan to have him do a small project for me.
Call Andy Coombs at 609-895-0688. It's in central/south nj. He has alot of SCCA pro and club rally cage exp. and he's just done 2 future ECHC itr cages. I'm pretty sure his prices are more reasonable than some of the bigger names posted here.
