Default b20 into all motor 2.2 liter

how does a person stroke a b20 to a 2.2 liter????????
i am cuurrently running a stock bottom end b20vtec
i just bought my eagle rods stock length and je 85 mm pistons 12.5:1
planning to get the block sleeved soon
would i just have to add the eagle stroker crank or is the block not big enough. do i have to buy the new expensive as* dart block with the deck extension

I hope you understand that you cannot just add a stroker crank and keep the same rods and pistons, it won't work...

If you want to make a 2.2L B-series, you will need atleast 86*95, that will get you 2207cc. You can run that in a stock deckheight motor with custom shorter rods, but you will have issues with piston speeds, revability, etc...

If you really want a 2.0+L b-series, I suggest you use a deckplate. And if you go that route I hope your ready to spend a LOT of money..

Personally I had a deckplate block ,but decided to go with 89mm stroke and stock deck height cus I didn't feel like dealing with all the hassles of a deckplate motor, and to keep cost down. I think I'd rather save the cash, and later on perhaps do a K-series deckplate. Imagine a 2.4L K24 block with a deckplate so taht i could run longer rods and rev that ****** to 11,000rpm+ and a K20 head that could keep up with the flow.
