Default fluidyne radiator w/ dual FAL slim fans..does anyone have this setup?

If so, could you please post. This is the only thing that is left until I can get my car back, and my bodyshop guy is saying there is noway I can use the FALs with my fluiydne. If you have pics of this setup, that would be even better. Thanks!

Sorry no pics, but when I had mine installed the mechanic wipped out his dremel and did a little work on the fan shroud. They work perfectly together in harmony.

why do you need the FAL fans? stock always worked fine for me with a fluidyne. the only thing is the fluidyne (at leased it didn;t used to if it does now) does not have provisions for the a/c fan.

You have to notch out a little of the fan shroud around where the hoses connect to the radiator. If you lay the fan flat against the radiator you can make a nice template to cut with. That was the only real modification. You also have to find a new way to secure it because the original bracket won't work with the Fluidyne. I bought some "zip tie" style straps from Advanced Auto Parts and they seem to have done the trick. The part number is #226201. They're called "Nylon Mounting Rods". Hope that helps ya out some.

Roach</TD></TR></TABLE> thanks bro. My bodyshop guy got it to fit. Like you said, you just have to deepen the spaces where the hoses connect. I will post some pics tomorrow.
