Default eD 15A - =(

Beautiful speaker...
Breath taking...
Accurate...
Simply Amazing...
But dead for now.

I loved it, but now I hate it. Less than 1 week after installing it (after having it sit around and collect dust for 3 months), I have encountered the 15a's only downfall.

My cone has disconnected from the suspension at the T-joint, and now sounds like ***. I've contacted eD about warranty repair, and hope to hear from them soon.

edit: Damn topic.
It was getting 500w from an Ampman Revo in a ~1.3ft^3 box.

ouch. that sucks...shipping is gonna be a bish.. lol..

put that sub in a 2.3 cubic feet ported box tuned to 28hz. guaranteed you'll like it. lol. 1.3 cube is pretty damn small for that sub. should be around 1.7 cubes if u have it sealed.

2.3 is a tiny ported box. Is that the recommendation?

if he glues it then he can say goodbye to warranty. ED knows whats best for their sub so i think its worth it to let them do the fixing. and its not that easy to glue it back on perfectly without messing up anything. lol

When I send it back, they will reinforce the T-joint with an aluminum plate. It should be better than new.

BTW: I'm actually working on a ported box tuned to 28, but it will be a TIGHT fit.
Oh, and I still want a XXX .
