you will need a 14mm, 12mm, 17mm, spring compressor and a secondary wrench to hold misc nuts and bolts while you tighten/loosen them and thats about it, its really a simple thing to do

I've done it w/o a spring compressor....It isn't that much harder, just gotta make sure you don't lose the top nut when it shoots off cause of the pressure being released by the spring.....I've done it with air tools and w/o, with its simple, just put your foot on the strut assembly to hold it down, when you use air, the strut is gonna shoot back a few feet, so be ready. Without air tools it just takes longer but it aint a big deal....

Well, thats how us lazy people do it that don't feel like renting a spring compressor

If everything goes smooth, it shouldn't take you more than 1-1.5 hours to do it...

This thread sorta sucks. If you can change your own oil. You can do your own supention. Its not hard, but it is time consumming. Set aside at least a whole day to get everything done. Maybe more depending on if you have trouble with stubborn bolts or rusted parts. Also make sure to get an alignment when your all set and done.

All I need to add to this is have access to breaker bar, it was a really hard to get the bolts off the first time, until I got the breaker bar.

Threat your threads, get a breaker bar, get a spring compresser... and you are good to go with a suspension in about 3 hours if everything comes off right... but the older the honda the longer its going to take cause the bolts are going to kill you... even if there arent so many to deal with.

make your own spring compressor instead of doing it all jacked up. use two metal plates, drill a hole in each own, put a bold throught it and compress. make sure u use a piece of metal with hooks or soemthign to grab onto the spring. kinda ghetto, but better than nothing
