OK, i've seen alot of video clips of turbo preludes and such. But does anyone have any clips of their all motor prelude, or any other preludes? I have been interested in seeing some.

Since I have an automatic h23, I do not think I will be going the turbo route :-\ so I am going to try and build my engine.

But, auto H23 is like begging for Forced induction. If you have a 5-speed H22 then maybe look into all-motor.

By what Gude was telling me, HKS tried to turbo a v6 automatic accord, and it didnt gain much and made funny noises on transmission when boost kicked in?

I really really want to know some solid stuff about Turboing an automatic

 

i haven't wseen any turboed or all motor prleudes racing or gunning or ne videos period. except for somes tupid ones but nuttin good. if anyone konws of any sites please tlel me. : ) thanks

You lose lots of power through the torque convertor on the auto tranny's. Remember

 

ah ok, that explains why they only gained a little bit on the times..

 

i've seen a video with the jun 4th gen prelude...that's about it though

 

oh yea, i have seen that. i saw it go up against a TSX, S2k, the lude itself and can't rem. the other cars, it out ran and performed them all except the S2k, it was like road racing in japan.

Just got a DV cam last night and have been messing around....

car is a 1994 Prelude SI 5spd with 1993 USDM h22a1/USDM h22 tranny/USDM p13 ecu, iceman cai/greddy ss header/stock cat/apexi dunk catback/untuned v-afc, ww big mouth body kit, motegi mr7 16x7s, full interior and options (working a/c etc), nothing stripped, light stereo in trunk.... smokin modded DSMs since 2001 with no engine failure yet (still making 220psi compression acrossed all 4)

Not the greatest video because since I was driving + recording I had to simply mash the gas in 2nd around 3k and try to shift while holding focus on the speedo cluster, so my shifts ended up being low at a high of 7000rpms by the V-AFC (much nicer when shifted 7300-7400 every gear)... here goes
