Are there any ITR owners on here that live in Alberta? I am going to be moving out west and I was looking for some people to roll with.

I met a guy with a Type R in Edmonton. He mentioned that there were only 2 type R's in Edmonton. I can't remember if he's on here or not.
You won't find many R's out there because most people drive domestics.

There's a couple of R owners and 114 people on H-T from Edmonton

Only one's that I know of are destroyed or selling in BC or WA.

 

Many ITR owners here, im from sherwood park outside edmonton and i drive a PY itr.

So far my count is up to 6 i know and even race with, they come on h-t sometimes.

Lol 6 that i know, but im guesssing there is around 15 of them or so. Just a few of us race them.

I roll with 2 other CW JDM ITR's here in Calgary. In total we have less than 15 Type R's here.

Most of them are stock, but a few of us have upgraded.

Oh, cool whats up meng. DVD is alright, but the Mugen twin loop is the new bling.

Car is alright, just parked it not too long ago. Bent the axle at bud park(too much hp, lol) and had to watch at the last lapping day.

Is that three JDM speedtech ITRs now, dam you guys are taking over..

Mugen is the bling hey...can't go wrong with that! I think Al's JDM "Mugen" ITR would benefit from that!

that sucks about your axles, it's happend to a few of us down here too.
I wanted to hit the track late Sept early Oct but I was scared to do the same.
I had the new Hytech header installed and it's crazy! Mad Power Yo! HaHa

Ya there are 3 JDM's at Speedtech. Al's Mugen style, Vince's Spoon Style and my Azect stlye.

I'm still undecided on what header to get so many choices to choose from, but the Hytech is out of my price range. Does anyone in cowntown have any headers for sale?

 

I haven't seen any. With there only being a few ITR's in town it makes things
difficult to find unless you do it on your own.

 

Were the gains great on the header? could you feel the difference?

I almost bought the comptech(hytech copy), but comptech flaked and gave it to someone else.

I am just trying to justify the hefty price tag that goes along with it

 

There are quite a few type r's in calgary.. the 3 from speed-tech, first of all, and there are probably 8 other ones at the university alone, let's not forget the ones driven by high school kids... type r isn't common but it's certainly not rare. that yellow murcelogo is rare!!!!

Yeah I am for sure moving. I have to say that I am going to be very happy to be out of Toronto.
I am very excited that there are places to race my car. I have not done much yet but I am addicted to the track and autocross. I will be bugging you guys later to let me roll with you.
I am moving in February, probably to Calgary.

 

There's actually a fair number of R's in Edmonton. I can think of 6 Phoenix Yellow one's off the top of my head. There's gotta be at least 20 all together in Edmonton. I talked to a guy at West End Acura and he figured they probably sold about 30 in Edmonton over the 5 year span they had them, i'm sure a few have been destroyed or have moved away, but some have also moved here from Calgary as well. There is a good number of guys who will be at the autocrossesnext year with R's. (there's me, Greg, Dave, Dave, Mann, and Anthony).That's at least 6 if we all show up the same day, not including the guy who's moving here. Plus there'll be at least a few of us at the lapping days. As for Calgary, i have no idea.
