Yes, they are design to hand 10K+ rpms and not break.

Hey Rocket, got a question. Out of all your B-series VTEC cams, which ones actually make power to 10,000+ RPMs? It's nice having the valvetrain components to handle those revs, but do you sell a cam set that will actually ever see that high of a RPM?

Also, how much lift are they safe for?

Have you seen the specs on his cams? Rockets also working on some other badass stuff to add to his product line-up... browse the forums at http://www.ef-1.com

Rocket =
he always answers my questions no matter how redicilous, once I do deside to get some hardcore aftermarket stuff, it'll be EF-1 no doubt. Can't argue with the price either.

They will be overkill for the itr cams. If you only plan on using itr cams forever then run itr springs, if you are going to get bigger cams than itr, toda a's, skunk stage 1's, jun 2's, then get the ef1 valve springs.

overkill in what terms?
imo the ef-1 valvetrain is at a great price..
and would be the most dependable.
would also give you the option of going with more aggressive cams later on down the line.

too stiff, I supose for ITR's, but I'd much rather have too stiff than too light. Its like a large throttle body. Better too big than too small. If the springs were too stiff how would it hurt the valvetrain in the short term?

-edit-
I supose it lock up that extra 1 1/2 horsepower....

Stock ITR valvetrain floats badly if you have have lighten flywheel, Lower Final Drive, and compression break or downshift alot. The stock retainer is too heavy in my opinion for the stock ITR springs for performance use.

For the springs/retainers, I have personally seen in a first gen B16A handle over 10,000 RPM's for a few minutes. Amazing IMO.

Ef-1 valve train is awesome
