video camera?

Default video camera?

anyone have any experience in mounting cameras in or on cars...I was think of doing ot for security and it might be fun to have on while cruisung....what recording device could you use that could run when the car is not running aka parked?

well ive installed one b4 but its different.. my friend has a small battery opperated camara that was also a transmitter.. it sent the signal to his room to a VCR.. he used that to record.. but it only works like 200' away or less.... but it was a good idea to protect his car...

A buddy of mine installed one of those cheap little 12v color cameras in the grill of his 300z. Its hooked to his indash monitor which gives a crazy perspective on the road when your moving. He also plugs it in to his little digital camcorder and records "*****-out" runs down the back roads around here. Some of that looks pretty cool. If you were putting it in to record for security, it would just give'em one more thing to steal.
