OT: Concerning in-car video (analog)
Right, so this may not belong here, and if that's the case, delete or move away mods.
I've got some in-car videos I'd like to get online, but they were taken on an analog (I think that's the correct term) camera, like HI8 or something. I'm fairly inept when it comes to electronic doodads, so does anyone know a free/cheap way to get the footage digitized? As an incentive, you'll get to see Zimmerman pass me in the H4 'teg

If it's on a 8mm tape, and you know someone with a Digital8 camcorder, they use the same tapes. Use the Digital8 camera to transfer to PC. Otherwise, look at Dazzle analog video converters. I think the basic kit is about $50.
