hey guys, dont know if this is a repost, but i can't get over how bad this R is damaged...i dont think it can even be saved

Don't see much hope for a restoration in this one. The auction description stated that the car was stolen and burned.



But check out this one, which was burned from the front bumper to the back seats and restored:

looks like someone couldn't make their payments...why the hell would a theif steal this car only to burn it with the motor/tranny/suspension.

But I dont understand why someone would supposedly steal it, and then burn the thing to the ground ( ) with all the most valuable parts still on it?

Hey, I think I met that guy in Rockville, MD at a local hangout/parking lot. He said he was from FL and was carring around a binder with pics of his R, though the process.

yep, you sure did.. his cousin lives near me.. he and his brother did a very nice job restoring that R..
