Default Good tires for daily driving?

Other than Falken Azenis, what are some other good choices? Mainly for dry weather, but would prefer it to be good all around. Oh and for the people who have the Azenis's, do you guys consider them as quiet tires? Thanks.

Yokohama Es100

nearly as grippy as the Azenis, better treadwear, and better wet traction. All for a cheap price.

Bridgestone Potenza S-03
Quiet, comfortable, grippy, great wet traction compared to others

I like Pirelli P-zero, S-03 and RE-010. But, these are all fairly expensive.

I also tried out RE-71, Kumho 712, Azenis. These do a good job for the most part. (Azenis is not practical if you see a lot of standing water/rain.)

I am currently trying out Michelin Pilots. Just got them, so won't know how they are, but tirerack.com has good reviews and feedbacks on them.

Toyo T1s are pretty good. Expensive but good.

I kinda think a lot of these tires are still a bit to much on the performance side for "daily driving."

I'd prolly go with the Kuhmo 711 for a daily driven car.

Toyo T1's have just as good as traction as the S03. The prices are similiar but the T1S is by far lighter than the heavy S03

Who sells Toyo tires? Tirerack doesn't carry them.

I have always'd ask for feed back on these, but tend to find out not many run them to find a response. They definitly have good reviews on them on tire rack and for a good price too...

Does anybody have these mounted or have experience with them... I'd like to know too.

I know what you mean. I did a search and came up w/ like 5 threads. They weren't very informative either. The reviews on tirerack are great. I'm considering getting a set. It's either these or the Yokohama ES100.

I've heard many great things about ES100. Toyo T1-s has a really soft sidewall (compared to RE-010's... just ask Jetydosa).

Also, look into Kumho MX. I'm sure there are quite a few threads about them.

You drive an ITR, the car is loud as hell. I'm not worried about tire noise, I'm worried about how the tire grips.

Sumatomo HTR+ Good traction an good tread life. So far I have 15k on these and there is only about 20% wear. I expect to get about 50k out of these tires. They are also quiet

Just got the ES100s mounted last week.

Haven't had them long enough to form an accurate impression, but so far they don't suck.

I loved my S-03s. Worked like voodoo magic in the rain. Too bad they were on the wear strips after 12,000 miles.

Really? Weird i got over 25k out of my S03's, then they just went striaght down hill with the quickness. I would have gotten them again, but they kicked the price back up so they aren't worth it any more.

I've heard of other people getting a lot more mileage on them, too. Don't know why mine went so fast.

I just bought a set of 195/55-15 ES100's from Tire Rack. Only $224 to my door.

(They're for the GS-R; I'm using the RE010 on the ITR.)
