Default What ECU to run??

Hey ITR drivers. I am swaping a JDM ITR motor into my '99 EK, and I want to run it with an OBD1 ECU (i already have the jumper) but I don't know which chipped ECU to use. I don't know what "brand" chips are good, etc.. Please help me out. This is what i've found.

- Skunk2: vtec - 4800, rev limit - 9000
- Mugen: vtec - 5700, rev limit - 9000
- JUN: vtec - 4400, rev limit - 9100
- Feels: vtec - 5700, rev limit - 9600
- Visions: vtec - 5200, rev limit - 9600
- RPT: vtec - 4800, rev limit - 9500

Spend the money on a hondata s100 or s200 depending if you want the additional benefits. Since you already have the harness, you're half way there. All you need now is a p28 ecu and get it socketed it to fit the hondata chip along with some tuning time.

good choice on the odb1 as far as ecu hondata should do you right i heard kenji can hook it up as well also

p28 should be fine
about the mugen & jun program they attent to dump a lot of fuel at idle ( runs way to rich)
give Erick a call 310-320-5788 he can make you a custom program for your application

Timing control makes all the difference in the world when tuning.

If you already have a virgin ecu I got my ecu chipped for $99 shipped from kenji. Motor runs great with everything installed just gotta get her on the dyno for some numbers.
