JDM CTR EK

I am doing a JDM B18c-R (ITR) swap into my '99 EK. I want to use an Chipped OBD1 ECU but I don't know which one to get or which "brand" chip is good. Please help! Here is what i've found for chipped P28's

- Skunk2: vtec - 4800, rev limit - 9000
- Mugen: vtec - 5700, rev limit - 9000
- JUN: vtec - 4400, rev limit - 9100
- Feels: vtec - 5700, rev limit - 9600
- Visions: vtec - 5200, rev limit - 9600
- RPT: vtec - 4800, rev limit - 9500

Order a custom chipped P28 from either Kenji or IH8RICERZ on this board. I ran my B18cR on Kenji's custom chip and I loved it. I just switched it out for a "stock ITR" chip when I daily drove it though... because it helps with mileage.


If you HAVE to get one of the chips you put down, get the skunk2 one. It seems to be the most popular, and a decent place to start if you want to tune with a AFC or something.

i have searched on the boards and seen that the mugen chip runs in open loop always!...
