I prefer water sprayer myself.

But then again, for that amount of moeny, you could get water injection, and be alot better off.

It was on one of my friends WRX, and he wasn't actually driving when he sprayed it. It was loud as hell, like a REALLY REALLY loud hissing sound. The closest thing I could relate it to is when the semi's air brakes make a sound (if anybody knows what Im talking about).

one problemw ith the Ntercooler... Replace nitrous with carbon dioxide, nitrous is for injecting into the motor, not onto, it's too expensive for that...

it works pretty good, we just had problems with the wires and the relay burning up. we were recording temp drops of 30-40 deg. we got rid of it due to the wire melting issue, now we have methanol injection... that works better.. we were reading 35deg intake temps on a 80deg night

haha, can you say 510hp on pump gas. methanol not only cools like no other, but its about the best thing you can use to deterknock and lower egts

some guys online said something about if using that spray, make sure it's away from the intake, if it goes in the intake system - you'll lean out.

not sure how true is that but you guys should check it out.

i have a customer with it on his turbo prelude.it made 9whp on back to back dyno pulls..the bad part is,it unloaded the whole bottle in one pull.we put a drilled out nos pill in it right before the spray bar and it is much better now.i think it would have made a bigger difference on a car with a smaller, less efficient intercooler.the one on his car is a monster.
i think it is more of a show item than anything.if you want it to make a difference, plumb it into the engine.

currently we are running 50/50 mix, we may experiment with more methanol in the future.. just trying to get all the bugs worked out of hte car first.

we get it online... ups will ship the methanol.. i cant rember the website though. i think was like 40 bux for 5 gallons shipped

ok cool... yea .. my turbo kit (SF) has a 100 upgrade which alows you to run 10psi daily without 'knock' on stock internals. They say uselike a 75-25 meth-water mix ... the sprayer goes right in front of the throttle body and sprays down into it ... Uses the windsheild wiper container to hold the methanol, and sprays only at 7psi or above. I should only be using a gallon a week of the methanol and thats with constant spraying... however they state everytime u fill your gas up, you should refil it, which for me is like every 3 days. oh well.

if they say you have to run methanol to get 10psi then id go find a new tuner/turbo kit. there is no reason to resort to methanol for low boost like that. we are running 25-28psi on pump gas... thats why we have the methanol. the way we have it hooked up with the aem ems allows us to run the methanol only when we need it for full boost. flip a switch, the methanol comes on and the boost goes from 1bar to full boost. there is also a pressure switch on the pump.. the pressure from the pump drops, the boost drops back to 1bar and the pump turns off

with no internal work, and my engine SOHC 1.7 non vtec.. (honda's worst creation to date.) methanol IS needed to reach 10psi without dentonation

i seriously doubt that...... i mean **** i have seen the old b20a's boosted with 10-12 psi on stock internals before... those are the redheaded stepchilds of honda

id be willing to be that if hondata could reflash your ecu you would be able to run more boost and get more power. its all in the tuning
