Anyone know what color the tach wire is from the ECU on a OBD 2 ver. 2 GSR(i think 99+)? and where is the best place to get at it?

There's a tach diagnostic wire on the driver's side (left-hand drive) fender in the engine bay. It'll be a blue wire with a black rubber cap covering the terminal, so it's a little tough to find because it blends in with all the other black rubber bits!

 

yeah you are right optiontoo. Its near the clutch fluid and look for the black rubber boot thingy. Good luck 01gsr. What I did was just stick it underneath the wire instead of splicing it.

 

i got a chart that of the ecu harness n just taped it there...but thanks for your help
