I'm not really sure, but I've only seen 1 Auto GSR in my life.

It was a sedan too.

But it wasn't called GS-R.

No B-series DOHC VTEC engine has ever been available w/ auto tranny in the U.S. In fact the only DOHC VTEC engines in the U.S. w/ auto tranny available have been the 5th gen Prelude's H22 and the NSX's V6. Oh well I guess also the K20 now, too.

It's not worth it. Your gearing ratios wouldn't get the most out of the JDM auto engine.

Guys just to let you know there in fact IS a USDM automatic GS-R... it was available ONLY in the very last year of USDM "integra" production: 2001.

So yes there has been a b-series DOHC VTEC mated to an auto tranny... please know your info before posting your "facts".

sorry, didn't exist

*edit* I checked 4 sources including Acura.com and MSN and NONE of them list an automatic available on any GS-R.

Because the prelude and nsx are aimed towards older men, which most would prefer an auto tranny.

How far back in the "days" are we talking about here, becuase you know in the 60's they did have automatic transmissions, i'm sure even earlier than that, but i know for a fact that automatics were around in the 60's.
